    Hi guys!!

Someone know how to make a “Thermoplastic” Style form out of an object. You know that white plastic that goes inside a package and have the item’s shape?

    Example: https://www.uskbalaji.com/images/featured2.jpg

It can also be called “Vacuum Forming”

I tried surface collision but its too smooth around the shape. Tired to play with the settings but nothing to do. What is cool with the surface collision is the fact that you can use a plane which looks like real slim thermoformed plastic.

I didn’t found anything on youtube or google. Maybe I didn’t searched with the good keywords..

    thanks

I think it would have to be modeled.

Have you tried using Cloth with the dress-o-matic? I’ve used it for that before, and although it can be tricky to get right it ends up looking pretty good.

Sounds good to me. Let me try it. I’ll get back to you soon.

Also I tried Collision on a plane with a lot of mesh (500, 500) but it’s too much. Make no senses.

Yup, I did something good with collider tag and cloth tag (on a plane).

I also achieved almost the same result from different ways, but this is the fastest and easiest.

    Thanks! 😉
