Object follow a moving path
Hi all,
I’ve been working with AE for years and I’ve never had to make an object follow a moving path. Is this even possible? I have tried animating the path points then copying those over to the position on the object but it does nothing.
Plenty of help videos on how to do it with a static path but not a moving path.

Check out the Script called “Create nulls from paths” (it is a bottom of the window menu). When you open it, the Trace Path option will create a null which uses an expression to control the null’s position, which follows the path.
