Object fire emitter
While I am in the C4D forum i would ask what would be used to create the attached image in 3D even if it isn’t Cinema. I do have X-Particles and have looked at Turbulence but would like to get opinions if possible.

You could probably do this in After Effects with the Video Copilot SABER plug-in.
I did a similar thing with a sword. Worked great.
