I’m using multipass + object buffer to composite my data. I just started doing it.

I use the object buffer as luma matte to my render. (select the luma from ae tree) But I have a little outline around my buffered object. How can this be solved ?

I also saw many other problems have the same issue, too, but no solution.

In shake its called a diolate / erode node no clue in AE. You could also use a small blur. and in some situations using it as a key is not the best as you can multiply and divide the object buffer too.

Im curious about this too. I always get this thin line when applying an Object Buffer as an Luma Matte.

Any proper procedures to avoid or fix this?

    thanks

If you always get that issue try under render settings, select Multipass and ensure Shadow Correction is checked.
