    Hey Guys,
Trying to add an object buffer to a text extrusion….but I’m trying to exclusively do this on the face of the text (which also has it’s own material applied to it) I tried copying the extruded text and then decreasing the extrusion to almost where it touches the face (super thin extrusion) and tried it that way. But the object buffer moves around all funky with the camera movements.

Is there an easier way to accomplish this? Like can you apply an object buffer to a material or a saved selection??

    Thanks!!

extrusions have internal ‘hidden’ selections (though they are documented) C1, C2 for the caps R1, R2 for the roundings (if the extrusion is filleted) you want C1 or C2, just place a material on the Extrude and type C1 (or C2) in the Selection
