  • Object along path and matching speed.

I’ve been stuck figuring out how to do an object along a path. See this example here.

I’ve used trim path to animate the stroke. And to animate the circle, I copied the path and pasted in the position of the circle. However, I’ve edited the interpolation on the keyframes on the trim path to create a dynamic motion reveal. The circle, though, has a linear interpolation.

My question is: how do I match the stroke reveal with the position of the circle? Thanks.

make them both the circle and the reveal as linear – they will match. now pre-compose and use time-remapping to adjust the speed to taste.
