    Hi,

I’m very new to Cinema 4D but I’m trying to learn it without a teacher. I purchased a model of a DVD box in .OBJ format.. It came with a dummy texture of “stuart little”.. But when i open the .obj file in cinema 4d it appears that the stuart little texture isn’t carrying over… I don’t quite know how to tell cinema 4d to apply the texture onto the specific part of the 3d box… Any ideas? I can email the model to anyone who might be able to help..

    Thanks,
    max

There should be an *.mtl file with the *.obj. Those MTL files carry the texturing info. Apart from that, your object should still have intact UV’s and you should be able to apply any texture to your material and get correct mapping.
