Hello my good friends at creative cow,

im trying to figure out the quickest way to transfer nxcam files to prores (LT). i have been using log & transfer (fcp) but am finding it is taking a seriously long time (1 hour 40 mins footage – 15 HOURS!)

I have tried transferring locally from my macpro and still takes so long?

can you shed any light on this frustrating matter ???

There was a bug with FCP 7 that meant that any shot over 5 min (shot specifically with the NXCAM) would take hours. Update to 7.0.3 and that should fix it. If not an option, then get ClipWrap2.
