    Greetings,

I have a question concerning the most efficient method to import/inject footage from an SDHC 32GB Class 10 card to edit on an iMac 27″ (2012)?

I’m waiting for the iMac to arrive from Apple, and I plan on using a Drobo RAID Array for storing the footage to edit with CS6 Adobe Premiere Pro. Now from what I’ve read, Sony suggest using their Content Management Utility but it only runs on PC. I don’t plan on running Windows on the iMac at this time but was curious if I can use my Windows 7 laptop to transfer the footage to the Drobo or if I can use Adobe Bridge with the iMac alone using the SD Slot on the iMac and the Thunderbolt cable to the Drobo. Any thoughts? I hope I’ve given enough background to get an answer…

From the specs I see the Drobo can connect to either a PC or Mac but I don’t know if this is “an either or situation” or “simultaneous situation”. Any suggestions, confirmations or alternatives would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks,
    Steve
