    Numeric Keypad stopped working in FCP

    Hello,

    I am using Snow Leopard, 10.6.6 with FCP 6.0.6 on a Mac Pro 8-core.

    My numeric keypad works in every program but it stopped working in FCP yesterday. Any ideas?

    Check your keyboard layout. Does it have actions assigned to it in FCP?

    Mac Pro 2.26GHz 8 Core

    I’m not exactly sure what you mean. I haven’t change the default layout. Some of the numbers on the numeric keypad do have things set to them (i.e. multiclip editing)

    I ended up just trashing my prefs and it’s fine now.

    But I’d like to know if there’s something I may have accidentally done to mess it up and if there’s an easy way to get it back without trashing prefs.

    Glad you found a fix. If it happens again maybe try a keyboard reset under the customize keyboard menu. Strange that it did that for you.
