wondering if anyone could give me an idea as to what i could do with the following.

i want the count up from 1 to 65 with just the numbers showing as they change form 1 to 2 to 3 etc.
is there a fast way to do this in after affects or do i have to actually make the numbers change myself in my comp.

hopefully this makes sense to y’all

thanks in advance for any advice!

Not sure if this is what you mean – but try to add a solid and apply Effect>Text>numbers – set to ‘number’ – and just animate the value/offset from 1 to 65

    hth!

Jayse hit the nail on the head… You can do different kinds of numbers formats as well (such as integers and timecode). I thought I’d chime in with a sample of what the included plugin can do.

Please note: this is from a royalty free compilation i’m working on – I’m sure there are some rules about spam here so I’m not giving you the link to the product gallery. for this reason, the following flash thumbnail will play as big as your browser goes, be sure to shrink your browser window so the thing is not scaled way up into oblivian 🙂 click to play/stop the animation. enjoy!
