NumberKey and FCS
I just downloaded Numberkey in hopes of using it with FCS on my Macbook pro. For those not in the know Numberkey turns your Iphone/Ipod touch into a numerical keypad that is tethered to your computer via wifi. My problem is that NumberKey works in every instance in FCS except in keyboard shortcuts (I can fill in text boxes fine, but I can’t apply my favorite effects). When I key in a shortcut I can see the Effects section of FCP highlight as though a setting is being applied, but nothing happens. Does anyone else have this app? Is there a solution? Thanks!

I do not have that app myself for the iPhone. However I have looked into it though. Because it is not conected to the computer via USB or Bluetooth the computer is NOT going to recognize it as a real number pad and therefore you cannot use it for keyboard shortcuts. All that iPhone app does is send number input over via wifi.
There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
