Number generator – hold end number
working in Motion 4, I wanted the end number in the generator to hold for , say, 1 sec to allow other text to animate around it. No sign of a hold function or offset, as far as I could tell, to allow me to do this. Right clicking on the end number, I tried to key frame but it was deselected. In the end I just edited on a number which I retyped in text. It works fine, but it just bugs me – what did I miss?

Un-check the Animate check box and then you can animate the value with keyframes. Best of luck.
