Activity Forums Adobe After Effects Nuke camera to After Effect….. ??

    Not sure if a straight export is possible, but you could use Camera Tracker from The Foundry in AE to extract cam data from a rendered clip in Nuke. It’s a work around, I know, but is the only idea I have- maybe someone else can give you a better solution.

    As far as I know the only way to export camera data out of Nuke is in a .chan file. Maya can open that, and then you can save the scene as a .ma file that AE should be able to import.

    You may run into some issues with frame sizes and unit conversions, but that’s the closest I can come up with off the top of my head.
