    Hiya all,
When using the Nucleo Pro background renderer (which is just the shizzizle), I only ever see “8 bits per channel” under the Color Depth statistic, even though I’m rendering (or should be) in 32bit?
Is that just a display bug on Nucleo’s behalf or does it not support bit depth greater than 8 bit?

I did ‘RTF(Nucleo)M’ but came up trumps.

May be just a bug. Since Nucleo uses fully fledged background instances of AE, I don’t see why it should not render 32 bpc. I know that 16 bpc works just as expected, but never tried 32 bpc with it yet. Have you checked the resulting footage?

This is a UI bug. This is display only – the render is still being done at 32bit or 16 bit depending on your settings. We are shipping a patch to Nucleo Pro and Nucleo in about a week that will address this among other things.

Thanks for the response Steve, I thought it would just be a display thing as all my renders look as they should.
You guys have a damn fine product on your hands and I look forward to the patch next week.

(hopefully it will sort out the EPS issues too!?)

    Regards,
    Steve
