    I am getting intermittent output to my deck via Firewire from PPro 2.
    I have one project in particular that causes this problem. I can get no output to my deck within this project and once I load that project then switch to another, I get no output. Restarting PPro solves problem for other projects.

    I have the playback settings identical for the various projects. Restarting the deck has no effect. I’ve tried disabling services that may conflict to no avail. Saving a copy of the project doesn’t help.

    I get “Can’t activate recorder. Try resetting camera.” in my capture window.

    Any ideas how to fix?

    I uninstalled Avid Xpress Pro HD and this solved the problem. Avid’s After Effects EMP was also causing conflicts with AE’s video preview, so that went out as well.
