    Hi Guys,
I have a single clip recorded on the https://www.gopro.com waterproof cameras that’s 30 fps and I need to place it in a PAL project, (1080i). I know there are a few different ways to do it, but could any of you clever guys out there save me some time and tell me the quickest way and which way you would recommend?

The clip is only about 25 seconds long – what should I do?
I’m fairly new to the mac, having spent the past 15 years editing on a PC… (regrettably now!)

    hope you can help,
    thanks in advance,
    Nik

I would take the clips into Compressor to change the frame rate, turn on Frame Control, set to best and then do test other settings by trial and error. You have to have some frame blending to go from the 30 to 25 but Compressor will do a better job that say FCP.

Unless there is sync sound or a need to make motion appear at normal frame, it is also possible to use Compressor to slow the footage from 30 to 25 – ie: frame for frame.
