  NTSC & PAL Compatability Question

  Hello all,

  First time poster based out of San Francisco, CA. I’m going overseas to film a project next month and I have a question regarding NTSC / PAL Compatability.

  We’re hiring outside vendor aerial videography company and here are their specs:

  “As basic unit, the multicopter is equipped with the camera SONY CX 730 with Carl Zeiss lens
  Vario-Sonnar f = 26,0 – 260,0 mm (16:9) that records in AVCHD format MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 ™
  v.2.0 Full HD 1080 50p or 1080 50i 25p o1080 on SDHC / SDXC or Memory Stick Pro-HG Duo.
  The footage will be delivered to one or more Blu-Ray DATA, which will also contain the backup of
  all shootings.”

  Regarding their 25p & 50p, as I understand that’s the difference between NTSC and PAL. Will I have issues when I try to combine their footage shot with mine? Should I ask if they can shoot NTSC?
