    Hi Guys,
    Final Cut Pro 7

Hi guys I have a music video that was shot NTSC that I need to convert to PAL without speeding up the actual song.
Would anyone know of a simple workflow that I can do in compressor to convert this?

    The original sequence settings are 1920 x 1080, apple prores 422, 29.97fps.

    Thanks again in advance

Standard conversion wouldn’t affect the audio, just the video.
There are standard conversion folder in compressor.

I know but when its converted to PAL it speeds up the video by something like 4% which means I cannot sync the original audio with the new converted video. If you get what I mean.

    This happens when you “conform”.
Then everything will be speed up and the length of the program will change and so the pitch of the audio.
And 4% speed change would be when you conform 24fps to PAL.
Conforming NTSC to PAL, the stuff would be slowed down a 20%.

Standard conversion keeps the same program length. Some frames from the (1 in 6) of video are dropped and the audio remains as the original.
