  ntsc monitoring

  Hello,

  I am editing a NTSC project (720×486) on a multi standard monitor from Sony.
  Now my question is if the video i am looking at is distorted.

  It is a European Sony PVM 14L1.

  Normally Pal is 720×576 (DV) and is played normal on the monitor.
  I was wondering if NTSC is stretched vertically to match the monitor.

  The monitor switches automatically between pal and ntsc.
