Long time Kona user just switched to blackmagic and am having trouble getting an upconvert on the way in or out.

Im attempting to digitize 525i NTSC material via component but would like to perform a hardware upconvert on the way in to 1080i 59.94 prores.

In the system preferences I have my input correct and working signal, in the processing tab I have my Up Conversion – SD letterbox 16:9 to HD selected and my primary my default video standard set to NTSC (Ive also tried it on 1080i 59.94).

I’ve done a ton of troubleshooting and tried all combinations of Log and Capture/system pref settings and cant seem to get this to work.

Also curious if the tab in the system prefs is my only source of control for the card? I’m used to the standalone AJA app which displays signals and allows for preset saving. Is there anything like this for my new card?

What software are you trying to use with the capture? Media Express or something else?
