NTSC and PAL
Hi
Just starting out on an international project on Encore v2
It’s shot and editied in PAL but the client wants it available to NTSC territories. Is there any way other than a complete standards conversion that I can produce one copy that will do wahat he wants?

No.
You may be able to get away with shooting NTSC and distributing this in PAL countries (many PAL DVD players can also output NTSC), but that’s not the case with PAL content in NTSC.
If shooting on PAL, you’ll need to convert it to NTSC to create a disc that will play in North America & Japan.

Its shot anamorphic 16:9 and I want to keep it that way in encore – what project setting should I use?Thanks again

No special project setting is required. All Encore projects can contain 16:9 and 4:3 content (or even just 16:9).
