    Aloha,

Don’t know if this has been discussed already, but I can’t find it on the forum.

I work with cinema 4D on an animation that will be show on TV (NTSC).
I render out of C4D at 30fps (I can’t render out of c4d at 29.97fps) then in after effects do I:

    – just drop the 30 fps tga sequence imported into a 29.97 fps composition and render the new movie out?
    – or select the 30 fps tga sequence imported , “interpret footage” and change to “conform to framerate 29.97 frames per second” and drop the sequence into a 29.97 fps composition?
    – or work in after effects also in a 30fps composition and just select 29.97fps in ther after effects render settings when I export the final movie?

    Thanks!!!

I would use option #1 unless you were trying to match the 3D to a video, then possibly #2. If you do #3 it could throw audio out of synch but that’s if your project is long enough to account for the .97 frames 😉

Hi, I have a similar question about the Frames Per Second for Broadcasting NTSC Animations, What is the best way to make an Animation for NTSC Broadcasting, is it 29.97 fps or 30 fps?
I know for Film it’s 24 fps, thanks
