May 17, 2011 at 3:21 amHi, first time poster here. I ran a google search as I was having this exact same problem off of a used HVX 200. The firmware I currently have installed is 2.02 so this thing is back in the stone ages. Does not read any 16gb or 32gb P2 cards. No option to update, it would be great if anybody had some sort of resolution for this. Thanks a ton!

I sent our HVX-200 off to Fox Valley Video Services for examination and repair. We had a defective P2 circuit board assembly. To replace the board and perform basic maintenance on the camera as about $600 then $400 for labor.
Check with Fox Valley. I think you can send your camera to them for diagnosis. If the cost is that high, you might as well buy a 7D.
