  • Not sure where to ask this: Realtime 3D Editor for making TV graphics

A few years ago, I stumbled upon a Realtime 3d graphics generator designed for making intros, stingers and other elements for broadcast TV. It was a Mac-only app at the time. You could throw together a custom, 3d gfx package in minutes, without waiting for render — the videocard and Quartz did all the heavy lifting.

Does anyone remember/know what this is?

I don’t, but in AE, you can use Zaxwerks 3d Invigorator or Element 3d to make some really impressive 3d graphics using the GPU and in nearly real-time (depending on your GPU and scene, of course).
