Not sure what is going on here
I’m working on a new project and recently I’ve come across something that I can’t figure out.
When I try to insert a small image over the top of my video or even text, it seems to get cut off both to the right side if I go far enough and to the left. Also in the upper and lower areas.
What am I missing here as far as setting up my video? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Open the Pan/Crop window on the image, right-click in the middle of it and choose “Match Output Aspect”.

Yeah, I’ve done that before and it’s work, but for some reason, on this project, that option doesn’t do anything. It’s sure bugging me. Not sure if I accidentally set something wrong or what.

Do your text properties match your project properties?

To be honest, I really don’t know. I’ve tried going to pan & crop and changed things in the preset to see if that would make a difference, but it doesn’t. Is there someplace else to set this up?

I’ve tried and can’t replicate your problem.
In taking a closer look at your screenshot, it looks like there are two push transitions on the text event and neither of them start at the beginning.
If there’s no reason for this, delete whatever is there and start again. -
It looks like your using event pan and crop and cropping off the left side of the price. If your trying to resize the text this way, set the event pan and crop to default and use track motion to resize and position the text.

I would open Pan/Crop and delete all keyframes except the first one. Then make sure that you are on the first keyframe and right-click on the frame and select Restore and then right-click on the frame again and select Match Output Aspect. This will ensure that your media is the correct aspect for your project.
