not seeing video during log & capture for just AJA KONA2-720p 23.98 DVCPro Varicam
Can’t figure out why I keep getting an error and abort when trying to capture footage using the AJA KONA2-720p 23.98 DVCPro Varicam preset ONLY! This seems to happen only when I use this preset! When I use the 59.94 DVCPEO HD preset, I see and capture video just fine. The odd thing is that I DO see the video in the capture preview window and the FCP monitor output also sees it. So why does it abort and tell me it does not see video? The message reads ” this operation could not be competed as there is no video”.Is there something unusual in the Kona control panel I should be checking? FYI. I am using the older Panasonic HD 130 deck (no firewire, just HD SDI) if that’s a factor.
