  Not seeing audio waveforms when importing video from jvc

  Hi,

  My department just switched from using a DV camera to a JVC GY-HM790 series camera that records to SDHC cards. Now when I try to view the audio waveforms in my timeline nothing shows up. I’m running FCP 7, I just dragged and dropped the files. I’m wondering if other people have this problem or if there’s a certain way I need to import the files or anything like that. The clip is fine otherwise, I can see video and hear audio. I tried to do a search for this and didn’t come up with anything so feel free to just refer me to another post if I missed something. Thanks.
