Suddenly my After Effects has decided to cease rendering properly. It will render a few seconds of a segment, and then refuse to go any further.

I have a PowerMac 2 x 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xenon, and 4 gigs of RAM. There is 34 gigs free on my internal. What is going on here? It literally just suddenly stopped working out of the blue.

Would changing memory and cache settings help? If so, to what do I change them?

Any advice or insight is appreciated.

You’ll have to provide more information to make it easier for everyone to understand what is wrong with your system.

    Were there any error messages?

Does RAM Preview work or is this a File-Render-Save issue?

    Which plugins did you use?

Also, do provide more info on your comp and layer settings.

    Cheers
