  • Not Producing THM Files for Plugin

    Hello,

I’ve been trying to use the EOS E1 Plugin for Final Cut Pro with my Canon 60D, but for some reason or another my camera is not producing the required .THM files with the .MOV to use this.

Can anyone help with this problem? I would greatly appreciate your help!

    Thank you!

unless Canon updates the plugin, the 60D will not work without the plugin file being hacked (not the camera). This was super easy for the T2i (which is still not supported by canon) google T2i plugin hack, you should be able to figure out how to modify it for the 60D.

Do you need the plugin to determine shot data from the THM-files?

You can also rename the .THM files to .JPG and then view the EXIF attributes of the file. I use Adobe Bridge for that, but I would not know what the alternative on a Mac is (Finder?).
