Not Getting Video Out from my Avid.
Hey Everyone I am back with more Avid issues. It seems like my Avid is not sending VIDEO OUT to anything in our studio here at work… It was working fine last week, except for a couple time that it didn’t engage, but I just restarted it and it worked fine. But now, it isn’t working at all.
I have checked the Mojo in the back and restarted it, as well as unplug, restart, unplug the firewire, restart all of that. So I don’t know what is going on now.
The way our stuff is configured is the Mojo is connected by Firewire to the computer to read the output of the Avid. That is then wired into my preview monitor as well as the Master Router in the studio so that we can route certain Avids as well as Beta decks and whatever else into whatever we need. All of the Audio is put through a Matchbox and is routed the same way.
I am at a total loss right now, whether it is hardware, software, or whatever type of issues. But we need to fix this soon because this is our biggest weekend here and having the Avid not working is going to cause a lot of complications. if anyone has any resources or anything please PLEASE share…

Open your Video Output settings–is it set to the cabling you’re running out of your Mojo (Component, S-Video, or Composite)?
Is the Host light lit up on your Mojo?

Its actually working now… I don’t know how or why… but it is.
