    Dear all,
I have created a sequence by nesting two pieces od a couple of seconds and a still image obtained by SHift + n.

Then I have imported it onto my time line and when I have used the scros dissolve transition I have returned the message “not found” followed by message “Error: out of memory”.

Actually I cannot open my main sequence and I have lost a week of qork. I have restarted my machine returning the same.

I am thinking tha final cut pro is not a pro tools but a program for advanced amatorial use!

I cannot accept a message of out of memory on a dual quad core with 16GB of RAM.

Someone has suggestion for fix the problem?

    Thanks in advance

even though the message sez out of memory, its not waht the error is about. I have had that message come up on certain video clips as opposed to transitions and it was all about a missing codec.

If you search this forum using the same phrase as your subject line ie “codec not found – out of memory” or anything like that, you will find other posts from people dealing with this very issue!

    hope this helps

    good luck
