  “Not enough tracks to reconnect”

  Hi there —

  I have an interesting problem. I am trying to reconnect media sent to me by another editor. He was using FCP7 and I have FCP6. His sequence was ProRes 422HQ – mine is XDCAM EX 1080i60.

  The problem is: I can’t reconnect any of the JPEGs (and in a few cases the video.) When I go to reconnect a JPEG, and find the correct file, it gives me the error “this file does not have enough video tracks to reconnect.” I find this odd because it is a JPEG and had nothing special done to it in the editing process.

  Any thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated!
