A lot of people have had problems rendering with high quality vids and have the message ‘Not Enough System Memory’ and I think I have solved the problem 🙂

Heres what 2 do (you dont need to setup network rendering):

    1) Do project as normal and press ‘render as’
    2) Set your desired settings
    3) Tick the box ‘Render using networked computers’ and click save*
    4) Leave the settings as they are and press OK
    5) A process will start, your project will be rendered in lots of segments which your computer should be able to handle. Then it is stitched back together.

    * You do not need to set up any kind of network, all work will be done on your computer, it just uses the process that network rendering uses to render

Hopefully this should work! Good luck!

    Sounds Interesting dude !!!

I’ll give it a try, Thanks a lot for sharing!

    BTW
from time to time I get this red window on the timeline
when it tries to play/read imported .psd photoshop files

any idea how to overcome? I guess it’s a memory issue as well…

Wow. I will try this. Seems odd but might work. My computer becomes unstable long before the render stages begin, at 1:15:00 or so LOL…. Too many clips cause major crashes…

Hello! I have no idea if anyone still checks this? Anyway, I just wanted to say Thank You SO much! You have no idea how much stress you have relieved for me XD lol, this definatley worked!!

I had been trying to get this 20 second video saved for TWO days, I litterally slept one hour last night, and now it’s 6:25 AM the next day! haha, I was about ready to wake everyone with a “Freak Out” including my screams and the sound of a computer being kicked into a million pieces XD

I finally found a method that worked wonderfully though! And this was it! Thank You so much!! lol, I had transferred all of my files into an external hardrive and deleted the copies on my computer and it still gave me this messsage. So furstrating…

So once more, Thank You = D

Just curious, has anyone also experienced this on Windows 7, 64 bit w/VV 9.0c? I’ve not had any problem, yet, albeit I’ve not been using VV for very long. System resource issues have traditionally been a problem on XP and even to some degree Vista. I assume they are there on 64 bit Win 7, but….would be good to validate that. The ability to use much larger memory space in 64 bit might make this a thing of the past… cross our fingers….
