Noobie-Question
Hi!
i added a “scatter”-effect to a layer and keyframed it from 0 to 30. in order to keep the “scatter-particles” moving i tried to loop the keyframes with various loop-expressions (such as “offset”, “cycle” etc.) but none of them seems to work. has anyone an idea ?

Did you try Randomize Every Frame?

Dan is referring to one of the properties in the Scatter effect itself.
From the Scatter effect section of After Effects Help:
“Scatter Randomness
Specifies whether scattering changes at each frame. To animate scattering without keyframes or expressions, select the Randomize Every Frame option.”A convenient way to look for answers yourself is After Effects Community Help search.
