I capture dvc tape via firewire. It has good audio on one channel, crap on the other. How do I isolate the good channel? I need to capture both tracks because sometimes the crap is on ch1, sometimes on ch2

it seems to capture both tracks from tape to both channels. How do I split them and isolate just one channel?

Select the clips in the browser. Go to the audio tab of the inspector. Go to channel configuration. Set it to dual mono. Switch off the track you don’t want.

    All the best,

    Tom
