    Did you try trashing the FCP Preferences?

    (Are you sure you shot the tape in the mode you think it is?)

    Didn’t try trashing the prefs, damn are we back to that? I used to have to do that with Premier way way back in the 4.5 days. Mylast edit system I hadto trash the prefs 4 times in 8 years.

    Any way, the tapes were shot Non drop, oddly enough FCP recognized tapes two and three as NON drop, but thought clips on Tape 1 were drop frame. I had to go into clip modify,and set each clip to drop frame for clips on tape 1, unfortunately I had to do this on a clip by clip basis, and couldn’t group select the clips to do it.
