We are a small production company who have been using Frameline 47 for the last years. We still would like to keep using it for cataloging our assets, but it seems that the software reached its limitations at a certain amount of clips. It just has become too slow to handle on a 8TB raid with a few thousand clips. Development and support for the software has unfortunately been discontinued.

Does anyone have the same problems with Frameline 47? Did someone find ways to overcome the speed issue?

Are there any similar softwares out there? It seems that the only solutions I can find on the web are for larger companies and server-based (and usually well beyond our budget).

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Thanks.
