Non destructive volume adjustment / fades
Hi,
I just started editing for a tv show and the mixer told me I had to beware of destructive audio level adjustment.
He told me that some of the sound clips he got from my last aaf export were ajusted in a way that didn’t allow him to change the levels i had done.
Apparently there are 2 ways of making level ajustements, one is destructive and the other isn’t. But he couldn’t tell me which.I guess it’s about fading using keyframes or quicktransition but I don’t know which one is ok.
Maybe it’s a problem with export settings?
I’m a bit surprised, never had that problem before. I don’t work ver often with Avid, though, so I might have missed something important.
Can someone help? Thanks !
