Noise Reduction Workflow / Recipe
My drones have a fair bit of noise issues and I’ve started de-noising them as of late. I’m not sure when is best to process the denoise in filter stack.
Currently I’m de-noising the original footage first. However, classes I took on Photoshop which always did the noise reduction last. I know Photoshop isn’t Vegas but for that reason I’m curious which way do you do noise reduction and why?
If you do noise reduction last, do you process the unfiltered (original) clip?
Additionally, would you sharpen before or after the denoise?I’m doing some tinkering and think I’ve arrived at what I like best, but not sure if it’s necessarily best way to do it.
Currently trying this with Noise Reduction First:

Curious if is better practice with noise reduction last:
