More than any feature, this NR interests me greatly. What I need to know is how deep the level of the controls are. Is this merely a background process or can I apply NR at any level of an HSL selection for example? I often need to do very specific NR on a very narrow band of the spectrum in an image. Sometimes it’s not in the blacks for instance, but in the middle greys or at the level of skintones. If you have ever tried to darken a wall behind someones face which is close in terms of values, without hitting both the face and the wall with the NR you know what I am talking about.

Could someone specifically delineate the controls that are available for this part of the app?

as far as i get it you can make “selection” and apply nr to it.

so if you make node, apply qualifyer and apply nr.

there you go you have nr on really narrow spot.

As its described in the manual.
You will find and need only two controls, quality and range.
The interesting part is to find out WHEN to do it, but its fun to experiment with.
What I would like to know is a bit more about how it does the noise filtering.
