Noise Reduction Help
I have a noise reduction issue that seems like it should be easier than it is. I have a constant hum or buzz during an interview that i would like to reduce. I have tried Soundtrack Pro and Audacity to no avail.
I realize that I am not going to get it perfect, but the results that I am getting are frustrating.
Is there someone that would be interested in taking a look (listen) and see if they can come up with any ideas on what to do?
I could email a short clip of sound.

Open your audio clip in SP. Select the display frequency spectrum view, then right click on the clip to reveal the spectrum controls. Then adjust the magnification in the spectrum controls to identify the offending noise. Then use your frequency selection tool to highlight only the noise. Then hit the delete button to remove that noise. Usually works like a charm.

There’s a tutorial at Ripple Training that demonstrates the method Neal is describing. Under Soundtrack Pro 3 look for the one entitled “Enhanced File Editor”.

Hi everyone…
Need Guidence from you people who are over here, Iam facing a problem in Audio, when ankor speaks crackle sound is comming and i really dont know which filter to use for removing crackle noise. Please guide me regarding this.
