Noise Reduction and Magic Sharp
I have had several programs saved recently by the amazing job that the Boris Noise Reduction and Magic Sharp have produced. For some reason one of our PBS television shows had grain on one camera and the noise reduction worked wonders. I’ve found that after the noise was removed by adding the Magic Sharp it brought it back to life even more. Without those plugins the entire project would have been lost.
It does take a long, long time to render out the problems but it’s well worth it.

Great observation, Roger. And to amplify your experience I really found the power of many effects by using the pixel chooser controls. The ability to really fine tune the application of the effects takes it to a whole new level.
