    Check out Soundtrack Pro. The tutorial will show you how to use the built-in noice reduction. Its works very nicely.

    i heartly second soundtrack pro. the noise reduction feature outdid anything our Pro Tools HD rig could do!

    Thanks, I’ve been using soundsoap, that seems very similar to me – but what I should have made clear is that I’m looking this time for a video noise reduction tool! Apologies. Any experience in this area?

    Ken,

    I thought your first post was pretty clear, since you mentioned Joe’s Filters. The NR filter in there works pretty well, but the NR in AE 6.5 and up is a lot better. There is a de-noise filter in Boris Continuum complete, but it kinda expensive.
