I am using AECS3 / Keylight 1.2 to key out green behind an on-camera talent. The footage was shot at 960×720 60p. Working with the native .mxf files in AE.

The key is great, but there’s a lot of noise on the talent, especially on his dark suit. Is there a way to reduce the noise without compromising detail a la Gaussian Blur?

    Thanks in advance

    Wow –nice, Dave.

Chris, you might also try changing”replace method” (found under “screen matte”) to “source”

Could you expand a bit more on getting the background “washed out grey”
