no way to lighten 9.0 interface?
Is it true there’s no way in 9.0 to get the previous lighter interface of 8.0 etc.?

Oh yes there is. Go to OPTIONS-PREFERENCES-DISPLAY tab and deselect the option USE VEGAS COLOR SCHEME
