    hi to everybody,
I have a question about the waform in timeline.

Sometimes I have to edit sport events and to be more efficient is better for me to have just one clip for the entire event.
So I put the clips in the timeline (sequence1) and then I put (sequence1) in the viewer.

when I put some portion of video from the viewer (sequence1) to a new (sequence2) I can´t see anymore the waveform. I can see it in the mono1 or mono 2 and further in the viewer but not in the timeline.

Obviosly I have activated the cmd-option-w and also in user preferences.

    Thanks for any help

Make sure your track size is not the smallest. Try displaying a larger track size in your timeline.

    hi Tom,
I did what you told me before asking in the forum but I think it must be an other problem.

I started to believe that final cut7 does not allow this type of option.

    Thank you anyway
