Been working with Decklink SD flawlessly for a couple of months.
Got to the end of a major project, fired up the Mac and the desktop appears on the TV Monitor, use After Effects and preview works fine.
Then I load up FCP 4.5 and the desktop still appears on the TV Monitor, but my job does not. I have tried every setup possiblity.
Out of the Blue! I have not changed anything.
    Help

Make sure the proper Decklink format is selected for video output, and that video output is turned on for all frames. These can both be found in the “View” menu in Final Cut.

    Hi Craig,

There are some scenarios under which external video will become disabled in FCP. Firstly make sure you have chosen the applicable Blackmagic easy setup. This will also set the correct external video setting. Then go to the View menu and choose External Video>All Frames.

That would be the usual solution for video output disappearing and being replaced with the desktop.
