Any help appreciated…Final Cut is not seeing any video in my timeline/viewer/bins/ect. Audio appears to be there, and the clips are not shown as offline. Checking my hard drive, I find the quicktimes are there and play just fine. Final cut just shows a black slug-like screen for everything except graphics I’ve imported, and gives me the ‘ol drop frame message when trying to play video on the timeline. I’m using an aja io la panel, and have power cycled it to no avail. Any thoughts?

    Shane’s Stock Answer #15:

Make sure the canvas or viewer are selected then go to VIEW>CHANNELS and set it to RGB. It might be set to ALPHA.

Thanks for the response…but not the case this time. I should also mention I’ve deleted preferences and all that too. Still the same junk…and it’s the same in all of my projects.

Hi there, sorry for the late response – I’ve been on vacation. I ended up having to re-install the OS – Actually I had been meaning to jump from Panther to Tiger anyway, so I used this as my excuse. It was a pain in the rear, but it did the job.
