No Video Preview in Media Manager
I have a huge collection of graphic and music files identified in Media Manager that I can easily click on to get a preview in the preview window to aid in chosing which to use in my project. However, since installing Vegas Pro 8c the video preview no longer displays the graphic. I can see the frames counting off below the window but the screen is black. When I drag a graphic file to the timeline and play it it does display in the preview window. The music files play fine with full sound. I’m hoping that there is a fix somewhere for this because I rely heavily on chosing those files from Media Manager. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Just check your the trimmer window….there are some new
preview features upgrades there.Steve Rhoden

Thanks, Steve, I had to uncheck video monitor in the trimmer and now the video display works fine for Media Manager. I would have never found that. I consider that a glitch that should be fixed. Media Manager is truly one of the great time saving features of vegas 8.
